Donald Trump is back in the White House as United States president, and so are his trade wars.

He started off by threatening to put 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian and Mexican exports to the U.S., which most economists said would be terrible news. At the 11th hour, Trump pulled back and said he’d wait 30 days, but then he quickly turned around and said he would impose 25 per cent tariffs on all steel and aluminum in March.
